means 'loss of appetite' or 'distaste for food'. In this illness,
people refuse to eat, which in course of time, can lead to general
weakness.
Anorexia is caused due to bad eating habits. Usually women tempted to reduce weight extremely,....And also noted in young children and teens...
Some household Remedies!!
*Water is the basic remedy to anorexia. Unless your digestive system is not cleansed, you will not feel hungry and your anorexia will not be cured. Water does the first step. Intake of warm water cleanses the digestive system.
1)Mix 1 teaspoon of lime juice with an equal quantity of ginger juice. Take a teaspoon after each meal. It will tone up the digestive system and improve the appetite.
2) Have some butter milk with a small quantity of black pepper.
3) Chewing some sesame seeds before meals is said to be beneficial in treating anorexia..
4) Boil three garlic cloves in a cup of water. Allow it to cool down and add some lemon juice to it. Take this twice a day.
5) Take a few pieces of pineapple regularly for breakfast and you will feel craving for food throughout the day.
Anorexia in children..: Early detection and intervention can reduce the severity of symptoms, enhance the child's normal growth and development.
